Children’s Challenging Behaviors

            The existence of ethics determines the expected behavior of individuals. However, this is not always the case since there are people who display challenging behavior. An observer can identify the difference in intensity, frequency or duration that such people involve themselves in specific physical activities. The behavior tends to be long lasting which makes it a concern to administrators. The people who display this behavior usually have learning developmental disabilities. People with dementia and other mental illness also tend to have this behavior. The case is no different to children in early childhood development who I mentor and teach daily. My colleague and I are responsible for molding their behavior at that tender age. The task has numerous challenges due to the mental transformations of the children. Moreover, some of them may develop certain illnesses that may hamper their behavior. Consequently, I have decided to research the causes of this behavior and ways of improving the behavior of the children. The study highlights the literature associated with children challenging with an emphasis on compliance with ethics and acknowledging possible limitations in the study. 

Background of the Study

            Every caregiver desires to have a well-mannered child. Moreover, they anticipate getting a set of policies regarding how to raise the children (Yousef, 2016). However, the caregivers have to formulate their guidelines and accept the type of child they get. The reason being all children have their weaknesses and strengths. Moreover, they learn to depend on their genetics and the environment (Yousef, 2016). Therefore, the existence of clear guidelines of child rearing becomes impossible.
